Adekola Olawoye leads Pillarstone Law Practice, with a vision to stand up for the rights of individuals and families through dedicated and proactive legal advocacy.
He specializes in family law and frequently advises clients on a range of issues, including parenting time, child and spousal support, divorce, equalization of property, decision-making responsibilities, and other related matters. Adekola understands that family law matters can be emotionally challenging for all parties involved. He strives to adopt a practical and compassionate approach, focusing on resolving disputes amicably whenever possible and preventing avoidable conflict. He works closely with his clients to address their unique concerns and develop tailored solutions to meet their needs.
In addition to family law, Adekola practices immigration law and regularly advises on matters such as temporary visa applications, permanent residence applications, refugee claims, and other immigration processes.
His other practice areas include Child Protection, Landlord and Tenant matters, Civil Litigation, and Criminal Law.
Prior to establishing Pillarstone Law Practice, Adekola worked at Creighton Law LLP, where he gained extensive legal experience. He is also called to the bar in Nigeria, where he practiced for over 10 years in commercial litigation, insolvency, taxation, and criminal law before requalifying as a lawyer in Ontario.

Outside of work, Adekola enjoys spending time with his family, watching football, reading, and playing chess.
